    Katherine Vinnicombe is evaluating the Indian Market from the perspective of institutional funds at Foresight. Foresight are an infrastructure and private equity investment manager with c. £1.8bn assets under management across UK, Southern Europe, USA and Australia. As one of the largest and most experienced solar asset aggregators, their funds include the £277m FSFL LSE listed fund, and accounts managed on behalf of institutions and family offices. Foresight also have an experienced technical asset management function, and individual projects managed range from £5 million to £50 million.

    Mr. Lior Handelsman co-founded SolarEdge in 2006 and currently serves as our Vice President, Marketing and Product Strategy where he is responsible for SolarEdge’s marketing activities, product management and business development. Prior to co-founding SolarEdge, Mr. Handelsman spent 11 years at the Electronics Research Department (‘‘ERD’’), one of Israel’s national labs, which is tasked with developing innovative and complex systems. At the ERD he held several positions including research and development power electronics engineer, head of the ERD’s power electronics group and manager of several large-scale development projects and he was a branch head in his last position at the ERD. Mr. Handelsman holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) and an MBA from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa.

Prior to joining JA SOLAR, he has worked in sales for ISOVOLTA AG (now ISOVOLTAIC AG), a leading supplier of solar module back-sheet films since 2005.

At Actis, Rahul is part of the team managing Actis’ energy investments in India and has been involved in setting up renewable energy platforms in Africa and India. Prior to joining Actis, Rahul worked as a Senior Manager in the structured finance team at IL&FS Financial Services Ltd and before that as an Associate Vice President with ICICI Venture in the private equity team focusing on investments in infrastructure and allied sectors.

At the Ministry of External Affairs Headquarters, he has served in Europe East and Americas Divisions. He served as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office during 2007-2010. He holds a medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
